Australian Human Rights Commission: do you really believe males (XY) can be Lesbians?

The Lesbian Action Group are heading to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal after the AHRC (Australian Human Rights Commission) rejected their application for an exemption to have a lesbian only event on International Lesbian Day last year. The AHRC argue that granting an exemption would discriminate against trans women who identify as lesbians. The hearing is in Melbourne at the Administrative Appeals Tribunal on Monday and Tuesday September 2nd and 3rd 2024. If you would like to show support for LAG feel free to turn up to the Tribunal at Level 4/15 William St, Melbourne.
